Sojor and Moshion at MICAM Milano 2026: A Spring/Summer 2027 Collection Built on Comfort and Sustainability

What does it take for a pair of shoes to feel effortless from the first step? That's the question Sojor and its brand Moshion set out to answer with the Spring/Summer 2027 collection — and this September, the answer travels to Italy. Sojor and Moshion are returning to MICAM Milano, the world's leading international footwear trade show, to present the new collection to buyers, brand partners and industry professionals from around the globe.

The 102nd edition of MICAM Milano runs from 13 to 15 September 2026 in Rho, Italy, and Sojor will welcome visitors at Hall 1 | F30. For a Portuguese manufacturer built on private label development, MICAM is more than a showcase — it's where thirty years of craftsmanship meet the industry's next season.

A Collection Designed Around Comfort

Comfort is the thread running through every model in the SS27 collection, expressed across three categories: sneakers, classic moccasins, and classic shoes. Behind each pair sits Sojor's careful, hands-on process of material selection — the same process that has made the company a trusted development partner for international brands for over two decades.

This isn't comfort as an afterthought. It's a design principle applied from the earliest sketches through to final production, reflecting Sojor's broader approach to footwear: one where design, quality and wearability are considered together rather than traded off against one another.

Sustainability Remains Part of the Story

Comfort and sustainability go hand in hand in this collection. Sojor holds Recycled Claim Standard (RCS) certification, making it one of the first European footwear manufacturers to reach this milestone. RCS certification verifies the recycled content of products and ensures chain-of-custody traceability through independent audits — giving brands a transparent way to demonstrate real use of recycled materials, not just a marketing claim.

That certification sits within a wider set of choices Sojor makes at every stage of production, including recycled soles and leathers certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). It's an approach that considers the full life cycle of a shoe, from concept to end of life, and looks for ways to reduce environmental impact without compromising on quality. Why MICAM Still Matters

MICAM Milano brings together footwear manufacturers, brands and international buyers twice a year, and it remains one of the industry's clearest windows into what's next — new materials, new silhouettes, new expectations from the market. For Sojor, exhibiting at MICAM alongside Moshion is a chance to do what the company does best: sit down with brands, understand what they need, and show what's possible when design, materials and manufacturing expertise come together under one roof in Felgueiras.

As Sojor CEO Jorge Fernandes puts it: "Returning to MICAM is always a meaningful moment for us. It's where we get to show, face to face, what more than thirty years of experience in Portuguese footwear manufacturing really means: comfort, precision, and a genuine commitment to doing things the right way."
